Unfortunately, or fortunately, Bill Watterson has at some point decided to draw any new Calvin and Hobbes adventure more so the quality does not have to suffer from lack of new ideas. A very sad, but probably very wise decision.
So because nothing new is seed except maybe / hopefully in ten or twenty years, the term "complete" is really true in this collection. There are really original summarized all published comics of Calvin and Hobbes in English chronologically with Date Posted in three large volumes, beautiful together in a slipcase.
About the content and quality of the drawings I need probably lose no words: Whoever this collection At length who knows what he / she spends his money. Just worth reading and adorable!
Many of the small details about the "why, why, why" are summarized impressively in a detailed introduction. The emergence of the first sketches and drafts are incorporated herein lovingly.
The quality of a slipcase, Binding, Paper and printing is really first class, I would say "Champions League winner". Since wealthier off the heirs eventually even their joy. Less joy have people with herniated disc or postman who must buck the thing to the fourth floor - it's veeeery hard!
My conclusion:
A must for every good collection!
