Work jacket? Far too a pity!

I wear in the transitional period (spring, autumn) quite like softshell jackets. These are timeless and not bound like denim jackets to a trend. Since I do not need to work outdoors but usually wear on the way to work in the office, they should not be too much like "walking jacket" or "work jacket" look.

Appearance

This softshell jacket by Blåkläder is a particularly chic copy, especially the light / dark accents are striking, plus the red zippers ensure a great look. To work this jacket is almost too good! :-) As they light gray / black does not look in the color combination as a work jacket, you can wear the Blåkläder easily in their free time.

Size and fit

I am 183 cm tall and weigh 85 kg. Therefore, I have decided on the size XL and the jacket fit almost like a glove. The sleeves are maybe a little too long but rather a bit too long than too short. Guess the jacket fits well until approximately 90 kg body weight (as long as the 5 kg depend not only on the belly).

Quality

As with Softshell jackets customary outer seams are visible. These are but nicely sewn in Blåkläder and therefore not negatively striking. The quality seems high, but this I can only really serious to say something in the long-term test. As far as I can tell so far but everything is impeccable. Should it still change in the future a little, I'll revise my review.

Weather protection

Softshell jacket, in this only the dark (black) deposits and protect these little from wind or rain. In my opinion, they form a perfect appearance, functional but almost nothing. Or what shall a windbreak in the inner sleeves be good? ;-) Knitting deposits, however, are not windproof. Therefore, this jacket is not really suitable when it comes to rough wind or rain will repel. On the other hand the wind permeable knitting elements make it again that it is rarely too hot in the jacket and always prevails a pleasant climate. For me personally it is not a disadvantage that the jacket is wind permeable.

Conclusion

For less than 70 euros you get with the 4930 Blåkläder a really chic knit softshell jacket which is also very well made. If the jacket is used for the right purpose, you can not be disappointed. Under those conditions, I can recommend this jacket from Blåkläder hesitation!
