Film fits almost exactly, is a bit smaller than the screen of the D5300, but this is a good thing, so that you have some play in applying the film. Displayed area of the display is anyway a little smaller than the glass of the display. The film itself, in an applied state, shows a little streaks, but that does not really interfere, only when you look at an angle to the display. Now I just hope that the protection will be good too.
