Because I wanted to use the wireless charging capability of my Nexus 5, I tended to the originally advertised by Google Pad from PlayStore. Because to me, but the reviews of the offered here Qi with 40 bit too expensive and - Pad`s were positive, I finally slammed shut.

The delivery was due to Prime implemented within 24h and the goods arrived as usual at 1a packed.
The quality and presentation of the pad - packaging itself, make a very valued and stylish impression.
The part was unpacked ruckzuck and could be tested.
The back of the pad is slightly rubberized, so the pad can not slip. The edge and the center of the pad are held in piano lacquer and the colored ring itself is also a kind of rubber. Thus, there is no direct contact between phone and Pad, which also sensitive backs such eg. The Nexus 4 comes to very good.
I myself use my Nexus 5 incl. Of cases "Slim-Armour" from Spigen. The charging pad was quickly connected to the original charging cable of the Nexus and was therefore already operational.
This status is indicated by a small green LED. This is good dimmed and also does not interfere in the bedroom. Since I like to play around with the most little and gadgets, I have both, and tested without shell and various distances tried. Charging funtkioniert both with, and without shell 1a and starts from a distance of about 1.5 - 2cm above the pad. So should be quite possible, thicker cases or bags.
During charging hums nix, it disturbs nothing and it invites jiffy. I am satisfied and would recommend this small part warmly.
