That part works. Genial.

Actually conceived as a repeater / signal amplifier, I have found for a different purpose.

My problem was that I had a HDCP handshake problem between the Playstation 4 and my Samsung 55 inch TV UE55H6470.
After I installed a Light Berry System (Ambilight clone with a Raspberry Pi) and I use it a HDMI splitter must for my Sony STR-DN840 receiver, I had received from the PS4 no picture on the TV. But since my cable BW HD Receiver conjures up a perfect picture on the TV, it must therefore give a handshake problem between PS4, HDMI splitter and TV.

So without further ado ordered this CSL HDMI Repeater, clamped between HDMI splitter and TV and lo and behold, everything is working perfectly now and the handshake problem is solved.

If anyone has a similar problem, I can just recommend this HDMI Repeater warmly.
