we moved to Germany from the US and wanted One Of These for our multi-plug extension and several 110V items. this thing is pretty cheap and works exactly as advertised. it did release to electrical burning smell for about the first 12 hours, but it dissipated thereafter and did not return while working perfectly the whole time (and since)
