I bought the optical switch, because I wanted to connect it to my surround system my PS4 and my Sky receiver. Since I have no amplifiers or something else to connect other optical cable, this unit was needed.

As mentioned in other posts, the unit is quite large. The circuit requires a little force. But I values ​​as stability and not a hindrance.

In this respect, I would highly recommend the switch.

PS: The supplied cable to look cheap and are short. Who does not have the equipment in the vicinity of the switch, will have to buy longer.
