Application:
Monitoring of babies during lunch or overnight sleeping in another room.
Operating via WLAN:
iPod touch: on the original D-Link app. Works well in full-screen mode, only lacking a zoom function.
iMac: purchased from the App Store an app from a third party, in which the camera is not listed, but output as DCS-910 also works well to fill the screen without sound.
Picture:
The image is crisp and color depending on the resolution detailed enough. Although in my opinion should now at the price higher resolution be possible, but you knew that before buying. The night vision is also sufficient for the 4 diodes illuminate far enough and the contrast is good.
Sound:
Miserable. Purling. Not worth, so off for better data transfer of the image.
Coverage:
Could be larger. N standard is great for the transmission rate, but more than 56Mbit has anyway not yet brought the camera. If it is further away than 6m through a closed door rips off the connection regularly. Too bad, because a stronger power supply of the antenna could have been perhaps more juice.
Conclusion:
Good wireless camera with deficit in the range. As this is an important point in WLAN 1 star deduction.
Nevertheless, a strong buy recommendation.
PS: One installation software for the Mac is now available on the manufacturer's site.
