What bugs me a little, that's right glaring blue light, but what is very disturbing, especially in a bedroom.

So I covered the LED with a dark tape and now it is only a faint blue shimmer ;-)

Personally, I think it would be better if just for the numbers 1 + 2, respectively, the corresponding icon (pressed or not pressed) would be and could have been dispensed with entirely for the LED.
