CM3 USB 2.0 to DVI, VGA or HDMI adapters, 2048x1152 pixels, 1080p Full HD possible, external graphics card, display adapter, CM3-NW-004 (Electronics) 5
I operate the graphics adapter to the USB interface of a 13-inch MacBook Pro from the beginning of 2011 under OSX Lion. The driver I downloaded from displaylink.com. Under MacOSX Lion can, however, contrary to the claims on the packaging of the monitor hanging on UGA Adapter display, do not rotate. The display of the monitor at the Mini DisplayPort can rotate but is so no drama, I think. The performance during zoom in / out and moving windows is not great, while the screen content when scrolling in PDF and Word documents are surprisingly updated flight. A work in Word and Excel, as well as reading PDF documents is very possible. The adapter also compatible with VMware Fusion. So then you have either 3 monitors (notebook + mini dp + USB) or one of the three full-screen Windows. The other modes (Single window and Unity) also work. Solely the mouse in virtual Windows behaves a little sluggish. But I am just at elicit whether this is because I have turned off mouse acceleration in OSX or if this is the USB Graphics Adapter. Because burned me the details described above before buying on the nails, I have this now given for the best in the hope to facilitate other purchasing decisions. All in all for the price a great product. However, the purchase of a notebook with reasonable dock with two graphics ports an even better solution is to use two large monitors on the notebook.
