Bought to connect headphones jack with headphones + microphone jack on a Mac Pro 2010, this small USB sound card works well on Mac OS X 10.6.8. It is not fully recognized: "Unknown USB Audio Device", but it does the job. The volume is quite consistent. Functionally it's all good. By cons it's still too expensive for what it is (currently ~ 21 euros). I test for 2 hours, so I have no concrete information about its strength and durability. As against the fact that it is a single cordless block is undoubtedly a + for resistance. The plastic shell seems welded, it squeaks / no squeaks when pressed, that's a good sign.
