Unlike a docking station also I manage the docking of the cable straight away without any problems and the charging process is carried out as expected. Of course, the connection is very loose, not to be compared with, for example, Apple's MacSafe connections, but this is due to the construction of the port and is not attributable to the charging adapter. Because of this, the phone must leave when it invites - or the adapter hold. Advantage of this: The (watertight) housing need not be opened for charging, what should thank you seals.
For the price, in my view therefore perfectly fine.
