So my two children cough at night in the autumn and winter often so severe that they have to vomit ... night after night ... and again I had to grab and wrapped in a blanket out on the balcony to breathe in the cool air and then to the bathroom to inhale hot steam from the cranked taps with the windows closed ... Because not only the children were knocked out in the morning and totally exhausted ... Then I bought the Christmas bonus in 2009 this humidifier, then still significantly more expensive for about 80 EUR. I was not sure if I now again out throw money out the window, but I was really pleasantly surprised and eventually totally excited about what this device causes !! We have a common-used children's room with about 20 square meters and the door is always completely open even at night. Nevertheless, this device has our humidity in this area from 48% to up to 60% increases in the night! The children slept really cough free! Of course I have also noted how rules: only short airing vor'm bedtime as during the cold season, the humidity of the warm room into the cold air is discharged outside, so the air is dry due to too much ventilation in the room !! But I also have 2 things to complain about: It's not easy to empty the humidifier, always there remains residual water in the tank and can be seen in the interior angle not enter it with the best intentions !! Leaving the device so a few days with an old water in the heated rooms are and it will only clean it, then it's too late and I think the bacteria in the slimy broth which can then form, should not be clouded again, otherwise such a device can also do more harm than good! So I read the manual and it says that one should disinfect regularly with a sodium hypochlorite solution. But at the pharmacy they wanted to know the concentration, because the device can also be damaged otherwise and that was to find anywhere ... no contact to the manufacturer was possible! So that's a real point deduction, because since then I have not dared me to make the humidifier ... Good thing the two girls just this winter no such dire (Krupp ?? -) had cough more! I'll throw it well and possibly buy a new, should appear the cough problem again
