The repeater should step up the wifi network from the office (router location, telecom Speedport) to the living room, as tablets and smartphones reception problems in the living room had (notebooks seem to have a better receiver, had no problems). The repeater was also without WPS (function of the older router had not) very easy and quick to install according to the enclosed instructions and the wifi signal was appropriately strengthened! Good also the display for reception quality router repeater which indicates the proper connection location. Smartphones and tablets can now also be used in the living room via WiFi.
