Bought the repeater for my mother in law. She has a Gigaset E500A telephone with two handsets. Theoretically, the installation is very simple. Put phone in the login state for new handsets and repeater power supply into the socket. Then coupling should be automatic. Went with me unfortunately not so. After some time I got there hingekriegt:

Are 1. The E500 had set only for the repeater mode (in System Preferences).
2. Then the repeater reset (button on the back, press and hold until the flashing frequency left LED will change to fast from slow - then release the button).
3. Now put the phone to the base station in the login state for new handsets.
4. The repeater signals Duch a steady LED that the coupling is made.

Now you can bring the repeater at the planned installation site. It connects to the power interruption within a few seconds with the base.
Since then she has no disconnections of telephone calls more. Works so as desired.
