However, to avoid frying, artifacts, etc ..., you need quality cables, which is not the case of those provided:
- When I test in composite mode with the supplied cable, large horizontal white bands swept the tv, in addition to the converted image.
- When I test S-VIDEO mode with the supplied cable, white spots appeared on my tv, in addition to the converted image, which n 'was more the case with another cable I poss already dais.
Then, the adapter has a ridiculous cable length, maximum 30 cm ....
Also, the fact that the AC adapter plugs from the side of the case where the HDMI located is impractical (given the length of the cable that has been mentioned) and unattractive if it is decided, as I have done and as it seems logical to do so, to the HDMI jack in front and sound and composite video or S-Video out at the back.
Finally, the fact that a red LED, located on the side of the case where the HDMI terminal is located, either permanently march once the converter is on the way (and also provided no other indication) is also unattractive seems unnecessary and elsewhere!
Especially in view of the housing prices, but also in absolute terms, these small details are overlooked regrettable ...
