The adapter works super on my Nexus 7 tablet.
With the adapter and the app (Nexus Media Importer) that allows access to external devices, everything works great. This allows access to USB sticks is possible. Disk I have not yet tested (then goes only with external power supply of the HDD -according to statements div. Forums)
