I bought this bluetooth dongle to add Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility to my Macbook Pro 2011. It worked perfectly!
I installed the "continuity activation tool" without any worries. I now enjoys Handoff and Continuity on my "old" Macbook Pro, a great advantage with my iPad and iPhone.
