Previously I had a USB Sharing switch box of Conrad, which looks quite similar and so far prima worked. Now I have a laptop with Win 8 and already did not work anymore. After several fruitless to information from 'great' sellers in PC shops and in the media market, the still more complex solutions proposed (W-Lan, Network, etc) I have this ordered small device and installed on both systems Win 8 Lap and XP computers. Works as before with no problems. Simply the traffic lights turn green and you've got the right Computer printer. Mom bothers me only the blue LED which are also very bright at night, the USB cable lights up while connected.
