#### Packaging ####
The packaging is compact held, for my taste but still too large. Here something smaller would really passed toward the Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging. At the sight of packaging a recess is present through which you can see the USB flash drive (s. Product picture # 5). Unpacking went smoothly. And put it on the Raspberry Pi.
#### Installation ####
So fast yet pulled the last firmware of RaspBMC on the SD card, connect everything and started the Pi.
The stick will be recognized without any problems and can be used immediately. This also applies to the slightly faster version of XBMC with the name: OpenELEC.
Like quite a few other reviewers have noted, there are problems with the version of this chip sticks under Raspbian. I also got to stick with the smart version 2 and was therefore clearly disappointed when it did not want to work so simply Raspbian. So I dug myself through the Internet and searched and searched for tutorial tutorial. At some point I was mentioning that you should update the kernel of Pi, so I did as I was told ... Here, however, there arises a problem that most tutorials are still working with the old kernel version, so I once again a problem had. So again begin again everything to zero and from the front. After a little experimenting, I finally hammer out the installation and use my Raspberry Pi now with Raspbian and this same stick as AirPlay receiver.
I try again to find the ultimate tutorial times and to ultimately be incorporated into a revised version of my review. This then saves certainly desperate each a little more time.
#### Using ####
Already described above, I once used the stick for XBMC and here had any major problems with the built-in plug-ins. YouTube videos are loaded quickly accustomed. Power failures, I could not detect any. Only the transmission of music via AirPlay has sporadically on stuttering. It is this stuttering I could see under Raspbian with Shairport. In my opinion, this is not related to the Stick related. The Raspberry Pi is partly simply overwhelmed with the streaming of data AirPlay. The process display via 'top' in the console confirmed my guess.
#### Recommendation ####
I can only recommend the TP-Link TL-WN725N Wireless Nano USB Adapter. In case of failure of my current sticks I'd just buy me this again.
