Looking at this little gem for wonderful portraits, then you know that Fuji at least in the processing once again has done its homework. Of course you would, and you would have to expect that. Priced it is with this intensity is not so bad, although it is of course not a bargain, but compared products (occurs to me just only the Canon 85mm 1.2 for 1600 Euros a) are even more expensive. About the Lens: The 1.2 is as I said very well processed, with everything your heart desires delivered in email box (Geli, wrapping cloth, covers, etc.) In the picture quality it leaves virtually nothing to be desired. Even at full aperture, it delivers amazingly good, dimmed by 1-2 values it running in top form and to the edges, it is at f 5.6 to 8 on top. With its central focus and its main use as a portrait lens, you can see the resolution deficits (if you can even call it) at the edges at full aperture neglect confidently. A great bokeh background blur, making it perfect for portraits and it is indeed primarily intended. The AF is not a Fuji typical sprinter, but provides rapid, accurate and above all quiet (!!) sharp. For enthusiasts of manual focus Fuji has done everything. Butterweich can rotate the ring and is also wide enough, which is by no means a matter of course AF lenses. Conclusion: Who needs it, who gets to the 56er a very fine glass, which dissolves high, unerringly sharp and pulls for portraits at the Fuji for me is the number one, even though there is still a more expensive sister model. Due to the focal length typically very confined Anwendungsmögllichkeiten it is sometimes good at 1000 Euro, with regard to the price. A real alternative in Fuji bayonet system does not exist either. The 2.4 macro could be a 60, but this is focused macro typically too slow and too loud. The Lowlightfähigkeiten the Fuji cameras would have a 1.4 56, or even done a 1,8er what you can already use good at open aperture. Then at the close of applications and the Fuji photographers with minor Bugdet would have been better served. Of course, the work continues with this large aperture also requires pinpoint accuracy focusing to get sharp photos at the point that you targeted. For those who make a lot of portraits and not shy away from the 1000 Euros, this lens is a clear recommendation.
