+ Super feel
+ Very intuitive and thoughtful service, especially by touch control and finger gestures,
+ Brilliant Display (3x as many pixels as 450D)
+ Adjustable this Play (never photograph different again !!
+ Buttons sit where your fingers need them!
+ Menu settings and better structured, very clear
+ DIGIC 5 processor: No comparison to the previous models, in reaction and speed; everything runs like butter!
+ Absolute highlight: The wireless flash system (eg as Master for my Speedlite EX430 camera flash - pure pleasure!)
+ 18 megapixels, which speak for themselves: with good lens (eg 50mm / 85mm) posters large images with brilliant clarity,
+ Good LiveView (focusing on the screen, trigger by tapping)
+ Face detection and intelligent "box" that indicate the body which is sharp,
+ Good low-light photographs, especially as the camera often ISO intermediate values (like 500 or 700 by itself selected)
+ The built-in flash seems to be really advanced!
Disadvantages are only struck me:
- Not with any lens provides the LiveView quick sharp (in some he drives endlessly back and forth)
- Not all photos in the "Night mode" (1 image of 4, for less noise) are good. Since even the manual are often better.
The video mode, I have unfortunately still not at all tried, because I always use an HD camcorder.
All in all I would say that the transition from a model (to 450d) definitely worth it!
In many ways are there really significant differences (not just the processor and the number of pixels).
While the sensor is the same, but only for great feel and the functions it is worth.
But only with good lenses!
- Tip: Canon 50mm USM / USM 85mm / 28-135mm USM -all silent and fail, perfectly to the 650ger!
Strong buy recommendation for advanced and (future) professionals!
