First the finish is very correct: Plastic well cut, no burrs, the object is relatively well assembled, only the portion of the torch mine is a little crooked, and the whole looks solid (surprisingly for a multifunctional object at this price).
As against the sound is terrible, it looks like porridge. The sound volume is correct, it can climb high (high enough to break your ears) without saturating much more than low volume (but that is because at low volume the sound is already muddy).
To reduce costs, there is no display and the buttons are minimized. There is a switch lamp / OFF / TF (TF = mp3 player or speaker) and dial to start / stop playback (press the dial) to go backward (push the knob 1 once to the left) go to the next track (push the knob 1 once to the right), lower the good (+ 1 second push the dial to the left) and turn up the volume (push the knob + 1 second to the right). There is an entry that serves both line in and loading (double-purpose cable is included), and a headphone output.
The "flashlight" feature is anecdotal: I think the cheap 3 LEDs that turn purple dazzle more than they really light, but it can help (eg to seek an outlet in the dark under a desk).
MP3 player mode (with an inserted micro SD card and the switch on position or lamp), I do not know how the device determines the first piece he reads, then the playback order (random? Alphabetically file names?). As there is no button for that, not switch between continuous read / random, and if you have many files and you are looking at a far down the list you will need to press "Next" many times before reach.
As for speakerphone mode, I struggled a bit before you understand how it works. The manual says you just turn the switch on or TF lamp and plug the supplied cable, it does not tell you that you must remove the SD card (if not default the unit is in MP3 mode, the audio cable in is plugged in or not) or that it is the side jack 3-band cable to plug-in the reader.
And be careful: the sound output volume in speakerphone mode is much lower than in MP3 mode. If you were using the unit as a speaker (saw his weak and of poor quality I doubt it, but you never know) and then you insert an SD card to play music that is above The difference in sound level is brutal! I have read several reviews of people who bought this player for their children, but personally I would avoid. While it is simple and durable, but the sound from the speakers is of poor quality, downright rude, and the volume is high (it is not limited, and it is very easy because of how the dial up the volume to the max by mistake). In short, it's perfect for destroying small delicate ears of your children! (And if you want to go further in the paranoid, note that it is very easy for a child to remove the micro SD card and swallow :)
I bought this mp3 player speaker for sound in a homemade UFO catcher: I just need a device that can read and disseminate a loop in the background to an audible volume and I wanted to spend as little as possible why - I found the perfect product! In addition, the sound quality cracra perfectly simulate the atmosphere (din) halls Japanese arcades!
Now up to you if this product is right for you :)
