The cover has been unpacked and the first surprise came with the unfolding of the cover. I assumed that my Z3 in a "shell" is clamped so considers it, instead it is a "silicone surface?" attached to the reverse side. This works excellent thanks to the glass at the back.
The cover is equipped with NFC. You have NFC, if not already, activate the settings of your Z3 and selbiges simply stick to the NFC sign the cover. You are asked whether you want to download software from the PlayStore (~ 17 MB), this is required for the function of the cover. In order for the initial setup of the cover is already finished and you can now use it.
When cover is closed you can wipe the window and so are other apps placing Left or Right.
If you possess the docking station DK48 you can use the supplied adapter and the Z3 fits perfectly on the station. Recharging works without problems and all connections are easily accessible.
A protective function is given by the cover, but should not you your Z3 drop since the edges are not really protected.
