Had my Yamaha AS500 ordered as compared to the originally favored by me NAD326BEE. Have returned and keep the Yamaha the NAD. After long listening sessions me the Yamaha liked much better. He is tonally balanced, sound much clearer and plays fine dynamics a higher league. The NAD plays a total of one octave lower, so who likes ... but for longer listening for me to annoying it. One should treat the AS500 a more significant player device. Have paired him with a CD player Marantz SA7003, ... sounds really stands out in this combination. Processing Technically there by my side nothing to complain about. The Yamaha AS500 has a top price / performance ratio, ... therefore from me five stars.
