What I first negative noticed was the slightly long delivery time of nearly two weeks. My Order reason had actually been done in the meantime, because LG had finally managed to provide a LOVEFiLM App :-)
After unpacking and - pleasing trouble - Connecting to the TV, the enthusiasm was once large, crisp presentation, quick configuration and brisk service without any stuttering. Both the App Store Amazon and the PlayStore run, I have only once poked around and tried a couple of hours. Until then, my rating would have been 5 star plus, but now the device should show what it was actually purchased video streaming!
The following portals I've tested:
* LOVEFiLM. Unfortunately, the Android app allows no streaming, a misunderstanding meinersetis.
* Max cathedrals. No app available.
* Watch Ever. Very good app, but terrible judder in video playback.
* MyVideo. Also violent jerks.
* Power Cinema. Almost useless app, violent jerks. Amazingly, bucking the Werbefilmchen not delude actual film. The app displays all the time "loading film", even though the film runs long time.
The jerking may be a software problem, because the Nexus 10 has with Android 4.2.2 probably similar effects. However, the device for my purposes is thus completely useless.
Another minus point, the MK809 is a by his unacceptable high current consumption. This is so great that the supplied 2-amp power supply passes through not a single benchmark, because the supply collapses here and restarts the device. Even with many games can be observed generally in apps that need a little more CPU. This has nothing to do with the heat, as another reviewer suggested, the part is not warmer than my Fritz box. What is, however, hot, is this tiny micro-USB connector, via the flow the 2 amps. A supply only via USB ports is absolutely impossible, because you come here with two plugs to a maximum of 1 amp. Since the device but as I said has two sockets, I just a second power supply (1 A) connected, then that's enough for Benchmakrs. In addition, the device is then significantly less warm!
The AnTuTu benchmark shows with about 17800 points, a fairly good performance. The processor is computing power approximately at the level of a Sony Xperia Z, however, both 2D and 3D performance are very weak.
Something fun on the edge: the "translations" are partially adventurous, for example, want the "divide indigenous" "Home Media Center" a. What was the original? Native share?
Conclusion: Despite good approaches the MK809 for me is not useful. A software update may fix this, I would correct this review again. Report, however, the current consumption, which does not even is the supplied power adapter Lord. Only operated with two power supplies.
