It is solid and there is just the features I need. Different types of rice. First three tests: perfect the first time, between 2 and 4 cups. Normal rice. Basmati rice. Full black rice with vegetables frozen in pieces, chrome nickel. Fourth Camargue rice trial: overcooked BUT I added a lot of frozen peppers into pieces, they make the water not too bad ... All this between 2 and 4 cups, but I do not regret having purchased the Model 10 cups because there I can make soups (not tested)
Programming up to 12 hours in advance makes my life a lot. It includes the cooking time so no mental arithmetic to do. It is washing a snap, it ranks right, the handle is sturdy and very useful.
