Functioning smoothly, it does its job very properly, the performance is good. So on that side, nothing to say, that the good report.
On my lap when the red light goes out jarrête the PC, I think it depends on the motherboard or BIOS settings.
Very bad:
First, the mounting bay in 3.5 is very average, it does not resume the odds (screws) of a floppy disk drive, therefore, impossible to 4 screws but only two and not naffleure facade but shrinks a few millimeters and if the red LED is visible, the green is hidden. Note that the cable is long enough for a micro ATX and certainly for a full house. My case is a ANTEC NSK4400 (excellent today also I rejoice selected washhouse).
Second, the USB port is upside down, this is very very annoying because if you put in a key or other with an LED, it is below, so invisible.
In conclusion, Ok on an old PC by knowing their problems, if not for a recent PC or climbing, voyer to more serious and current products.
