After I had to endure poor range and throughput in WLAN with several Fritz boxes, I got myself this device. WLAN off on our Fritz box and set these, via LAN cable supplied by the FritzBox Access Point (TP-LINK TL-WA901ND) in the stairwell. It works! For years, stable WLAN from the basement up to the roof! Unfortunately, with some additional power consumption, but without anger.
