Compared to the normal Eneloops with a MEC AV4m measured 1950mAh XX Eneloops bring just measly 2400mAh, after the third charge-discharge cycle. And at twice the price! The value for money can be classified only as problematic.

I have the XX only for the reason buy because I need maximum duration without interruption for a specific device and thereby more money plays no role. The normal Eneloops likely to be by far the better choice for most applications.
