A beautiful object very well thought out!

This mechanical pencil Rotring double duty all-metal: it is dense in hand.
The seized zone (made of metal itself also and not rubber which often age well) combined with hexagonal body permits good calibration of the pen between the fingers.
It is a beautiful object: all in black, red writing on the barrel, gold ring with a red circle eraser end / recharge. By the way, the tiny gum is more for troubleshooting (but it is well that there is one!).

I said "all metal"? No, a rubber tip allows use as a stylus on smartphones and wireless tablets. This stylus function does not allow you to make the drawing (the tip is a bit too soft for that).
The originality of this Propelling Pencil is that the mine leaves through a rotation of about a quarter turn of the seized ring located near the tip eraser. This innovation allows not having to enter the graphite output portion for writing before its storage and it also allows you to switch quickly to the stylus pen.

Finally, and as usual with Rotring This pencil is made to last in time! Fortunately, because its price puts it in the world of luxury products. Nevertheless, it is a nice gift idea (pencil provided in a simple but beautiful triangular pouch).
