The camera is now for 1 month in my application and after 4000 clicks I can to a small but important downside only positive things.

I use a Transcend Ultimate 600x 32GB CompactFlash (CF) memory card (up to 90MB / s, quad-channel) as well as on my other camera (EOS 1D Mark IV).
The 1D Mark IV provides 10 frames / sec. and buffers up to 32 images. However, the somewhat scarce sized buffer when 5DMK3 is (so far) the only downside is noticed.
Please do not misunderstand that 5DMK3 is a real cream part. The 1DMKIV I'll keep anyway, never any question. But should nevertheless be mentioned for the sake of order.
The almost 3 times as expensive 7D buffers 18 shooting 8 frames / RAW. Mir is already clear that the 22MP III rock also requires more space than the 7 pixels (Crop 1.6) or my 1er (Crop 1.3).
As little trick that can be applied is in rapid continuous shooting where it depends on the buffering in any case ONLY TO to be stored CF CARD !!
The CF slot is the primary slot and is expected to be the faster. When storing both slots, the deletion of the buffer richtiget generally to the slower card.
At least I could have this experience so. JPG images you can very well make via the PC. In another review here should be read like.
However, you do not have backup, in this variant, if the CF card should even give up the ghost .......
Nevertheless, Canon would at a new product in this price range should be put more on his hind legs / can and to ensure a more upbeat emptying of the buffer memory.

But also in the fixed focal length range, there are some which are compatible with the ausgezeichnetet Cam - I use very much like the 35/2 - 50 / 1.4 to 85 / 1.8 lenses on the one hand

Very good results, I could also use the EF 17-40L f / 4 - achieve 70-200L f / 2.8 USM Macro II and the EF 100 / 2.8L IS II - EF 24-105L f / 4.
