To anticipate, I do not have the vacuum cleaner itself, but it was allowed to borrow from a friend to "test eye". So there was the "little pretty boy" during nearly three weeks in my apartment. Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I find the Dyson vacuum cleaner really great in design, so I think this would not even be hidden in the closet!
Granted, he is already very small, and my first thought was: "Can the really suck?" But since I own the previous model, (DC26) I knew natürllch; a Dyson will convince me not only by design but also by the suction. So I can compare him so well with the predecessor model, and if I had not this and am still satisfied, I would certainly chose this sucker! But what is now 26 or rather better in Vergelich to DC, which would justify a possible new purchase?
DC63 versus DC26
What struck me immediately enjoyable, was the significantly quieter operating sound. That sucker so you can with a clear conscience sometimes use the evening without the neighbors therefore equal to falling out of the bed ... :)
The suction power I found slightly better than the DC26. But this is also due to the brush that has been improved.
For pet hair (I myself have 3 cats), this Dyson also ideal. He effortlessly sucks even from the sofa, but it did his predecessor.
The ball Model causes the unit is easily tractable than the previous model. But even here, it may happen that he falls over!
Unfortunately, here too, the filters must be cleaned. Too bad that did not succeed in this, like its big brother, the Dyson Cinetic filter and to make maintenance-free. However, the filter is easily Mema rauszunehmen, (which often is more difficult with its predecessor). Even the Hepa filter can be easily removed and washed. This is a significant improvement. The container can also be emptied here at your fingertips and if you want to wash it, this is also not a problem.
But now to the suction and handling:
This is really strong and as Dyson promises in its advertising, there is no loss of suction. Since it is a small and compact vacuum cleaner, the tank must be emptied frequently during feeding times. This could be annoying for some, but this one has the space savings. Anyway müffelt also nothing and Dyson are almost pure air again, what I feel as a big advantage for allergy sufferers is certainly interesting. The cable is unfortunately a bit short here.
To buy or not?
Who has a small apartment and who do not mind having to empty the tank frequently, is certainly very well served with this unit. For the price I could have used a few more jets is expected and disappointed, as I have already mentioned that the filters need to be washed. Therefore, I would probably opt for a more Cinetic DC52, which is entirely maintenance-free. This one gets even often at a much cheaper price.
I hope to have helped you with my review and am happy to answer any further questions.
