Everything has already been said about this excellent objective in other reviews. This is an optical exception that knows only two real drawbacks: quite marked chromatic aberrations (correctable in Photoshop or Lightroom) and a strong tendency to flare despite the supplied lens hood. As for the low "range" zoom (11-16), it is not really a problem. It must Tokina - indeed - be considered primarily as a fixed perspective, with a small "plus" at the focal ... who reveals the most useful use we might think. Video quality (sharpness, color rendering) is worthy of a Canon L series and - with such an opening - the price / quality ratio is very good. For me, the essential quality of this little gem lies in the relatively controlled strain it imposes on the image. Let me explain with UGA, it is normal to have accentuated creepage and exaggerated perspective that departs from a camera angle "ideal". But the Tokina never looks like a caricature of Fisheye. As long as you take it keeps you avoid unwanted deformities (to the extent possible). In short, if you frame carefully, you will get without too much difficulty credible snapshots with real straights. I hesitated to invest in this light, but I do not regret my purchase.
PS: I just tested this on my new Tokina Canon 5D (full sized, so) and it works! Finally ... if you use it only as a 16mm standard lens position and not to mount the lens hood that inevitably appears in image edge. Vignetting is manageable (read: it can easily be corrected and is not "obvious" even at full aperture) and optical quality remains superb although I have the feeling of a slight loss of sharpness in video. Still, a good 16mm "fixed focus" opening 2.8 at that price for a full frame sensor, it is rather interesting.
