Very awkward is the design that the main mix output is always connected to the headset. If you want the headphones but the TapeIn (to "Tape Monitor") without hearing live signal, one looks in the tube.
It is not a quality defect, but it limits the possibility of using in particular the PC formidable one: In this case, namely uses the TapeIn as reflux from the PC card to listen to the signal produced by the PC via the headphones.
Unfortunately one has so but always both, delayed by the latency of the sound card and Processing (!) TapeIn channel, as well as the instantaneous live signal simultaneously on the ear. All chat applications such as Skype are unlikely to be realized with the mixer, one might not always hear yourself.
It's such a shame. There is even a button to hinzuzumischen TapeIn the main mix. This increases the input channel count to 2 LineIn channels of 4 urgently missing on 6.What is merely the key to decouple the main mix from the headphones.
