The advertised Fuktionen work here for a month really without any significant problems. Unfortunately, I was so excited that I have added the system to two other hue Lux, two hue Bulbs, a Bloom and the light switch for hue within one month. Another drawback, besides the price, is therefore apparently of addictive fun. : D
Currently I control the entire living room illumination by means of Hue. The lights are so bright that I now get along instead of the previous four with three bulbs in the ceiling lamp and even these operate mostly dimmed at full luminosity.
A switching via light switch is actually still possible, then light the hue at full luminosity. More luxury offers the separately available Light Switch for Hue, which is available here and in the bay, unfortunately for incredible 90 to 120 Euro / was. RRP is at about 59 euros, for which one also finds this to Hauf in the net.
My conclusion: The system is very expensive, but offers considerably more as effective solutions, all advertised features function properly. Only when setting up the light switch (not part of this set) I had just problems that this suddenly became unresponsive. Repeated quick pressing the switch helped solve the problem and since then it has not resurfaced.
There is also a flood of apps for smartphones and computers that significantly extend the functionality and fun with the hues to play, so like Hue Disco.
All I can say although the purchase costs overcoming, but worth it. I hope that Philips continues to expand the program and would I sometimes wish with E14 thread, because of nowadays much more often is used when E27 bulbs. I even had to resort to adapters to install all hues.
