Here are my impressions:
++ The price: For the money you get here two quite current phones with voicemail, where you just get the Gigaset base station with handset Siemens
+ The phone quality: I did not detect a noise, cracking or the like. The quality of the language was so, how do you get at 3.1 kHz bandwidth admitted happens to it. The voices are clear and not distorted. Maybe a little too quiet, if you already have hearing problems first, but which are not yet available :)
+ Processing: The phones were neatly processed, rubberized buttons and thus to operate well, on the back a rough rubber layer was applied, which it facilitated the call, because you thereby had an easier grip. Of course, plastic is plastic, but for the price you can not expect aluminum unibody.
+ Display: The display though is not soo big, but completely sufficient and can be represented by the free and fairly good resolution of the pixel array enough lines or menu items. The colors are nice, but not much important. Only for a different presentation of information (red-bad-green well, etc.) is important. This part is still a landline phone to make phone calls and no more.
+ Designation of handsets to the rooms: You can enter the phone name, not decisive for the war, but nice
o menus: The menu navigation was clearly laid out, but in some places to illogical and widely distributed, in my opinion. If I do this here, and the Nokia phones of first generations see each other (the function of the state are about the same), then cut the Panasonics noticeably worse. Some duplicate acknowledgments and requests (really want it?) Reminded me of Windows dialog boxes because you do most of the settings just once, but you can see over it - but that's all my idea and not set in stone.
- Ringtones: Although this is beside the point for some, for me already with entscheident. There are only 4 or 5 (un) normal ringtones, but about 30 polyphonic atrocities that could see the view of former ringtones from Nokia again. If I have a phone here in my home, I want to hear a pleasant ringing and not flinch when the handset rumjault. Only the first King Elton was somehow acceptable - but actually not really.
- Anruferdastellung: For me, unfortunately, has an exclusion criterion, which ultimately provided for the return. If you have to wait about 5 seconds until the caller displayed, makes the poor in a multi-person household.
Untested: battery life, AB
In and of itself for the mass certainly a usable phone, therefore 4 stars.
However, I gave the two negative points the momentum to return. Since you have the possibility to withdraw for 14 days, I have also seen here.
Meanwhile, I have another Gigaset system (C610A + C610H), which although was a bit more expensive, but at least satisfies me.
