Just one day before the official release cells I got the game and looking forward to playing there previously. Nope! I could only install Steam and the calling of the game. It worked in the end also good, but rather for the reason that high-speed internet is available. On March 5, I was finally able to play then.
The first impression was: WOW! What a graphic, which, just as I had imagined for a picture. But after the first few words of the young Lara the good impression was tarnished. Nora Tschirner as Lara does not fit particularly not if you've seen movies like "Keinohrhasen" with her. The role of the young, somewhat naive, but growing with their duties Lara can not take you to her.
In the pre-announcements for Tomb Raider was talk of an open-world adventure, with new large areas there are to explore, a Survival Feeling, a new skill system, etc. These things have been implemented, in my opinion, but rather half-hearted. The game served not diehard Tomb Raider fans who like beschäfftigen with climbing, mind-bending puzzles and levels in which you have to think, but the new part speaks through his presentation a bit of adventure and friends, a bit more the shooter fans and a tiny bit the role of player fans. All this is likely to have been purely associated with in order to appeal to more players can, but it has no effect on the progress of the story. Here fits the saying "Wanted, but failed to" very good.
My Conclusion:
If you do not rangeht with the expectations of a new Tomb Raider part of the game, it is quite worth playing. It is exciting and very well presented. Unfortunately, the Synchro cheese :( Of open-world adventure has not materialized and the skill system is more likely there so you can feel great as it really brings something in the game. That reminds me but the game still quite a bit was fun, even though it was not what I had thought, after all it gets 4 stars from me. Nevertheless, I would prefer to wait retrospectively until there is the game for a lower price.
