Indeed, before making my purchase, I had carefully checked out their website (shown here in the description of the article on Amazon) that my devices were well known by the Logitech Data Base.
In addition, I was not very hungry:
- 1) A television (recent) Full HD (Philips)
- 2) A player / recorder - DVD / HD certainly older (5 years) but of a known brand (Toshiba)
Ecstasy! - On the Logitech website, they were both recognized and their specific model number ... So I ordered.
Alas, even if it is true that the interface (departure) to Remote Computer via USB is relatively easy, the result -lui- proved very disappointing as there was the TV which had found favor with "Logitech"
Regarding my brave Toshiba, only numbers were recognized chain ... Either least a vulgar universal remote.
As for the PC interface "to customize the remote control", in addition to its complexity, this is a joke.
Little wonder that the instructions (4 leaf) is even reduced to this: a line (actually just the web link)
I be precise computer training ... in case you doubt my abilities at the time you read this comment
The notice shall also invite you to visit the "forum" (in English). Good luck.
Result: I always find myself with 2 ... 2 remote controls for appliances!
And it seems that I am not alone in this situation.
In summary: Either you have more luck than me (which is quite possible) and your devices will appeal ipso facto this capricious remote control, you will either be equally disappointed, especially as the cost of this product is far being negligible.
But one can hardly speak - contrary to what I read in some reviews - an article "miraculous" ...
