Now, the clock arrived and the size at first seemed a little big, but after a short while you get used to it.
I think the size is now optimal.
The reflective display is also very nice to look at.
What I like less, that the clock is only supplied through a cable with power, but is not a major shortcoming.
Clock / alarm clock / thermometer
The clock can be set in less than 30 seconds because you have to enter in minutes only hour, minute, and snooze time.
(The battery capacity for an emergency, I personally find to be unnecessary because he spared no time in case of a (rare) power failure.)
Let's get to the alarm clock function. Usually I just use my cell phone alarm clock. But I have also tested.
The alarm time is as fast as the set time and is stored permanently, as long as you do not change again.
To activate the alarm, just press the alarm button.
This seems to be a constant, compared to the figures, lower case 'AL' on the hour digit.
The alarm volume is more than loud. The sound or rather the beeping ringing, which, incidentally, you can not change, is very high for me and wakes me with no problems. The alarm clock completely fulfilled its purpose!
The clock can measure and display the room temperature. This can be useful under certain circumstances.
Brightness
The digits to light in two different levels of brightness, which can be exchanged easily by pressing a button.
For me it was important that the clock does not seem too bright at night. And for me it is perfectly adequate.
On the low level it's light compared to total darkness clearly, I think it is not disturbing.
Worth mentioning might be that the clock stands with me on the other side of the room, and unspecified eg on a bedside table.
Here, however, I realized an annoying defect. At first I wanted to use the bright stage the clock during the day, because I find the bright stage something more visible, especially in direct sunshine, which is the case with me in the morning.
However, the power supply whistles significantly hörar on the brighter stage, which is not for me to withstand.

Conclusion
Nevertheless, I use the clock constantly on the low brightness level without any major problems and am completely satisfied.
As for the brightness during the night, I can recommend anyone to test the clock itself.
I will not bother going to sleep by the clock!
From me there for this clock a buy recommendation, since it also makes do with the super low brightness and so prevents a whistling PSU.
