I am a painter and I work with the Wacom tablet for years. My predecessor was the Intuos4L that me has always served us well. A few weeks ago I now ordered this model and have it tested already extensively. Unfortunately, I had a "mon model" with a small hole on the work surface and the pin did not react well in some places on the work surface. Here kudos to customer service from Amazon, who replaced me the tablet within 3 days. 1 star for the service :-) I am very confident of the new tablet, everything now works properly. Plastic smell, which is described here in the reviews, I can not detect any. The rougher surface like me as a painter who also go with the real brush is often very good, because it better reflects my realistic brush pressure a canvas. But that's a matter of taste. Primarily I use the tablet with Photoshop, Gimp and Coral Painter and am satisfied. The brush and also the keys function properly. 1 star deduction I give the touch function that I immediately turned off because they definitely the draw stört.Das nobody needs safely. It was striking to me that the nibs wear out faster. I like to take into account, as I 1. replacement less expensive find and 2. also ink cartridges or normal brush must be replaced from time to time. So all one and the View Einstellungssache.Alles in all, I think even the price of the tablet in order because it helps me to create beautiful things. And who painted only occasionally or just for fun, safe is also a cheaper alternative. Only the pins I find too expensive - so do not let fall down (my cat once had a kicked off the table), then they are over now. Here, an improvement would be necessary for my taste! I would rely on wacom because convinced me over and over again the handling, processing and technology of the tablet.
