Not sure I made a good deal before receiving this vacuum. First, the noise. I expected something deafening, and no, it is very bearable. I measured the noise level and emission frequencies and I compared it to a vacuum cleaner Hoover Telos 1500. The sound level of Dyson is between the level emitted in minimum and maximum power by Hoover, so rather silent Comparison of suction power. Noise is especially that of air. The transmission frequencies are relatively spread over the spectrum, with a recess around 17Khz and maximum transmission frequency slightly above about 500Hz to 2KHz against Hoover. I think that is what must distinguish sensation. It's a little sharper. However, the best efficiency will reduce the response time and therefore the duration of exposure to noise which is very reasonable. Some have criticized the flexibility of the tube. However, I see a quality on a hard floor, no tinsel noise when the brush contacts the floor. So it is rather quieter this perspective. The device comes with 4 brushes. The special hard floor is perfect on the solid oak floor and good for the tiles. The mixed brush is less pleasant on the floor, so we reserve the carpets. The sucker is equipped with a crown of hairs that slides, very convenient to clean a keyboard. The vacuum cleaner is very handy and moves smoothly. The column of hot air that comes out, is not at all annoying in normal use. The vacuum cleaner generally remains behind and there is not 50 cm vacuum ... Fixing the pipe through the brush in car mode is indeed a bit light and the whole is not particularly compact. Only big disadvantage, I bought this vacuum cleaner to not be forced to move more of their stories, but the job approval of it may make me move and store other ;-)
