Better than OEM ...

+ Charge indicator is a big plus. the Canon-loaders we know though so roughly at the blinking intervals the state of charge, but with the percentage display is simply enjoyable
+ 2 Battery recharge time (actually would need not mention that, but just when using a battery grip that is tremendously beneficial)
+ Car charger cable is included
+ Various chargers with included, so if you have other (Canon) cameras, you need not even buy a second charger

- The aluminum or metal surface gets very quickly unsightly dents and scratches. I'm really careful with my equipment in order, and yet the metal got the one or other Delle.

Conclusion: 4.5 stars. the half star deduction there for the sensitive surface.
