I bought the adapter for the use of E27 bulbs HUE system. Become aware by other reviews, I looked at the inner workings of the adapter very carefully. So I created the center contact positioned vertically and the pears very carefully and only screwed to the first stop. Worked wonderfully and the lamps perform perfectly so far their service. The quality is according to the price in my eyes. But most of all the adapters are stable enough to hold the relatively heavy but HUE pears without problems.
With this knowledge, I would buy the adapter at any time; the decision, however, is clearly due to the low price.
Why a star deduction? Well, it should not be, in my view, that could cause by simply screwing in a bulb a short circuit or destroy expensive pears.
