Yes, the sound is a treat, excellent production, impeccable and convincing interpretation ... but it simply lacks ideas. Most of the songs are largely forgettable, the solos are not going very far or are embedded in the fade before they reveal their lack of inspiration, and the few sparks often come from guest musicians. I love the sound, the feel and phrasing Robben Ford. But for me it is not enough on this album.
