Comparison between the iris and the generation 2

I will do the comparison between the 2 and the generation of iris.

-The iris remote is less than that of Generation 2 Generation 2 because it can directly choose its color (touch), while with the iris, turn the wheel until the color suits us ( non-touch).

The iris remote control and Generation 2 can be controlled for both versions (smartlink) unlike about "Nathan malende" we can choose the color for 2 lamps (gen 2 and iris) as well with the remote control of the iris or 2 generation.
-the cable iris power is not removable unlike the generation 2 which can be useful if the cable is cut in because you can buy another gold for the iris must be take it to a repairman.
otherwise some details here that is not technical; the diameter of the iris is a larger but less high than the generation 2, visually iris is a little bigger than Generation 2.The weight of generation 2 is heavier than the iris.
CONCLUSION:
The design of the iris is nice but I feel that Philips has chosen the iris to reduce the costs of manufacturing the product (remote control, cable) to make it more accessible to the public, if I had to a choice between the two versions I choose generation 2 just for the remote control but it is possible to buy a remote generation 2 for about 40 euros for those they want to iris.Un another negative point iris did not base (support) and neither asked for the bag to win unlike the generation 2 even if the bag is very futile because usually I emmene nowhere.
