Crystal-clear, brilliant sound

Oddly enough, one simply does not find reviews, reviews or the like for Infinity PHI 51. I had the system found by chance at a dealer and have a trial heard it there. Only this made me order the system at all.

Now that I have the speakers barely 2 weeks running, I have to say: I am absolutely thrilled! The speakers feature a crystal clear, brilliant sound. The tweeter and the midrange 4 per satellite ensure a well-balanced and neutral sound.

I'm not a big Hifiexperte and can not also measurements auwarten. I always prefer the practical version and prefer to listen to movies sample.

First, and always gladly taken, Star Wars (Revenge of the Sith) - opening scene. In my opinion one of the best scenes for Surround tests, because here is the facilities demanded as good as anything.
The scene starts with a pan on the planet Corruscant in whose orbit is raging a terrible fight. With a rich, yet distinguished, bass initiates Republican star cruisers a the scenery, alternating with the wonderfully clear engines of Jedi hunters. The soundscape during scenes comes to their best advantage. In particular, the tweeter, I would like to emphasize at this point that put the finishing touch to the whole.

The explosions are excellently supported by the good subwoofer, but you never get the impression that you are a Brüllwürfel in space. - By comparison, I previously had a 7.1 Gigaworks THX system whose subwoofer has just get yelled.

The surround sound is very natural - depends, of course, but also very much on the AV receiver from which one has in use. In my case, I use a Pioneer VSX 919 - I just can highly recommend.
In any case, the surround sound is a real experience with this system.

The whole system I currently have to use a PC at (a XFI Titanium). However, I wonder greatly if I do not against my home theater system in the living room - Teufel Theater 1 - exchange. Because frankly, the PHI 51 has a better sound than the Teufel System.

A few more words about the delivery: Infinity delivers here everything you need for placement and connection of the system - apart from the AVR. ;) The package contains both 4 Halterungn table (desk, shelf etc.) as well as 4 stand brackets (1.30 m) and 4 wall mountings. Also Infinity speaker cables with supplies. You have to worry about anything in any case. Simply unpack, connect to be happy.

For the relatively low price obtained in any case an excellent system that can easily keep with much more expensive systems!
