The workmanship
very good for me, no columns, ordinary materials, no aberrations (Clouding).
The 2 remote controls are properly processed.
Clay
... Is on the television quite ok, but better than an external sound system. Too bad that there is no coaxial output on the TV, but only an optical sound output. Luckily, there are here at Amazon Adapter from optical to coaxial.
Internet
I had only problems was awarded the TV via WLAN with the Fritz box 7390 to connect (error, the default was an IP in television, which is in an area which is locked in my Fritz box. Remedy: Configure network access itself with Gateway ect or for. nontechnical of Fritz buy a Wlanrepeater and connect via a LAN cable to the television) Youtube and Amazon Instant Video function properly.
the (main) picture
the picture was very disappointing the second is the first unit !!! worlds !!!! better. Why ????
Thesis 1: strong series dispersion in the processing -> I exclude
Hypothesis 2: by firmware update has been much improved and corrected errors -> this thesis seems to me credible
The second unit had immediately by the Wlanrepeater Internet and played a firmware update to version xxxx23 a.
suspected Changelog:
I'm not sure but it seems new settings to be added in the Setup menu.
The switching of the internal Recivers have improved felt.
The image has a giant leap forward in the standard settings.
Even the works Upscaler felt better. Amazon Instant films look like 4k. AVI movies from USB also look better.
So I would recommend anyone with bad image, make a firmware update via WLAN or USB stick.
Alternatively, I have collected adjustment on the net a lot of fun to try:

I myself want the television also calibrate with Spyder4 TV we will see what comes out.
Conclusion:
Both devices I had / have have no panel error. I have for a great 1222 UHD television with Curve design and top processing get it 5 stars. To be fair, I must say, however, only at the second attempt. The first device (with no firmware update) could only get 2-3 star because of poor image performance.
