If you can versemmelt the dough in the form of course save anything, but it has the following advantages:
+ Not to thick sheet (cools rapidly for the next load)
+ Easy to clean in the dishwasher (even in our table dishwasher)
+ Fits in any standard pot
What I find not so good:
- Dubious black dirt was when delivered to the shapes and not very easy to remove (oil, rubber?!?)
- The lowest base is a little low, you have to pour water if you do not want the lower idlis "swim" and the pot runs dry repeatedly.
The previous comment, I can not quite connect for that matter "very thin material". This I did not get lucky, perhaps the manufacturer was changed?
I am fully satisfied at least until the two points mentioned and also look forward to my next Idli variation!
