On my brand new Samung LED TV UE40ES6710 with USB 2.0 ports and PVR function of the stick is recognized but does not create the PVR-checking. The TV reports that the transfer rate is too slow. I know the values just not by heart, but they were underground (max. 0.5 MB / s for reading and writing). Perhaps the Stick can also not deal with the XFS file system, the Samsung prescribes mandatory for the use of the PVR function. I tested at two different ports on the TV, standard USB and one with an extra power supply. The Samsung software is also up to date. My Sandisk Cruzer Contour 8GB Verbatim Store'n'Go and 16 GB (both USB 2.0) ran flawlessly.
The stick is sent back. Too Bad.
- Edit -
I kept the stick but now. With him everything is fine, but unfortunately apparently Samsung LED TV works for the PVR recording function without Buffer. Otherwise I can not explain why it is absolutely necessary for the TV, to write 4K file blocks fast as me. The Flexi-Drive is super fast on the PC and working properly on the BD player etc. For the PVR recording on Samsung TV I have now made an extremely slow SanDisk Cruzer, the PC (with buffer) although only about 4 MB / s creates, but works in the 4K range significantly faster than the Flexi-Drive and umpteen others I tested USB sticks and therefore the TV can easily absorb. The one with the different writing speeds at different data block sizes I've been using the tool CrystalDiskMark found.
